My one good picture of WV

Tubing was fantastic and a much needed release of stress.
Unfortunately it offered lots of chances for pictures but lots of wet
to break a camera.

Bus driver

If I am walking toward the bus stop on Walk light where you have a
green light, is it really big to hold for just one second for me to
cross the street rather than shake your head as though I am crazy? Now
I have to wait 30 minutes because you couldn't wait 10 seconds. Is it
any wonder Americans love their own card rather than public transit?

Duke sent a 2nd app

If I had a million dollars... It would all go to taxes likely

Some has been playing that song out side of my window and driving me
nuts. I don't mind the song or it's content but repitition gets to me
everytime!

Mei-mei has decided to be vocal about her displeasure when I leave the
house. Yesterday her sad cries combine with my nauseated stomach and I
ended up calling in sick and sleeping all say. Not thrilling but
definitely needed rest. Little miss still came near my head and cried
this morning as though I had been terribly neglectful by sleeping. I
think she needs other animals to harrass on occasion and to play with.
My dangling strings are only fun when attached to clothes, mostly when
I am trying to put them on. What can I say. She is a funny kitty.

Next bus via iPhone maybe more depressing than it's worth

I decided to avoid the Metro. The bus and a walk takes me straight
home in comfort with commuters like me... And the air conditioning
works. Yesterday I chanced it and ended up almost under a family of
four from Nebraska ( good corn fed folks). This morning I took the bus
and breezed through traffic. It used to be that spending the extra $.
75 a day was worth the shorter ride via the red line. But since the
accident where so many died, it cheaper on my transportation budget
and my sanity to stay above ground.
